10/15 TLA Monthly Meeting

October 15 @ 7:15 am - 9:30 am

TLA Friday, October 15th Morning Meeting

Technology Leaders Association (TLA) was established in 2002 to help senior level IT executives develop and manage their careers. As part of this effort, we hold monthly meetings to network, share ideas, and learn from featured guest speakers in the strategy, information technology, and career management fields.

Our speaker for October is Mark Hattas who will presentHow to navigate our world, this job climate and use the 10 elements of well-being to stay at your best throughout the process”.

Like computers, humans have “software” running. Your Operating System software runs constantly, while other programs in you initiates when needed. Mark Hattas of Journey’s Dream, a non-profit focusing on mental resilience, health and performance, will present the 10 elements of well-being necessary to refine your Personal Code to its optimal state. A refined Personal Code means you will be more present, confident, at your best, and in-tune with options in your life and career that best serve you. All who attend this session will receive a free 4-part video series following the presentation to learn, practice, and support refining your Personal Code to its optimal state.

By the way, prior to Mark’s presentation on the 15th, his team is co-hosting a powerful Integrative Mental Health Summit taking place October 8-10 online with nearly 40 of the foremost experts and thought leaders in mental health. If interested in this topic, explore it further at

Structured Networking
Structured networking is a technique used at most major executive transition groups. It is meant to be a powerful method of generating ideas that might help each of our searches. During this process, we will quickly brainstorm potential job lead ideas, gain networking contacts at desired companies, and generate advice from the members by sharing our backgrounds as well as our career objectives. It is designed to generate ideas, but given the time constraints, not get into immediate detailed discussions. You should plan on following up with anybody who may have had an interesting idea or a good contact.

Speaker Bio

Mark Hattas has, amongst other accomplishments, started, built, and sold a $20M/year tech company. He was later diagnosed with Bipolar I Disorder and told there was no cure.  Mark didn’t accept that prognosis and found his path to fully restored health.

The lessons Mark learned from this process in combination with his leadership skills has led him to help others live and lead at their best. He does this in three ways:

First, Executives work with Mark to stay at their best consistently. Mark’s coaching carries the highest endorsement by the #1 ranked Business Conference in the World, whose founder, Berny Dohrmann (mentor to thought leaders like Tony Robbins, Jack Canfield, and super star Bob Proctor of The Secret) claims a session with Mark is worth $100,000 at market rates.

Second, Mark is an international best-selling author. HIs books include Journeys to Success (mental health), Awakening the Optimal Leader (business), “IT” (children’s), and his most recently released audio and eBook, Prisoner of War (mental health). His next business book, Awakening Your Optimal Workforce will launch in 2022 and promises to bring to light the 10 elements of well-being (to be discussed at TLA) on a massive scale.

Lastly, Mark has co-founded several companies in support of people living their optimal lives, including a non-profit exposing how ALL of us are on the continuum of health and ALL of us can benefit from tools and resources available now. He and his teams have also brought to the surface a powerful program called Optimal Being to support people navigating life most effectively.

Mark is sharing his life journey with his wife, Liz, and their five children. Mark resides in Naperville, Illinois and has been a long-time fan of TLA.
